                            MBA, Stanford
                            BA, Russian Civilization, Smith College

I worked in the admissions office at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, reading and evaluating thousands of MBA applications over a period of five years, earning the title of “reader warrior” along the way. As Assistant Director of Admissions, I contributed to application revisions, wrote for the admissions blog, conducted information sessions for prospective students, counseled individuals, and organized a conference to recruit underrepresented applicants.

Most recently, I served as Executive Director for an education nonprofit, and have provided consulting services to four other educational nonprofit organizations as a member of the Stanford Business School Alumni Consulting Team (ACT). I have also worked with dozens of students who have successfully applied to top tier law, business, and undergraduate programs. Although there is no one-size-fits-all approach, I believe that everyone can create a compelling application that will stand out, and that the process itself can be a positive and empowering experience.

Soccer is my primary recreational activity, and I moderate a professional soccer forum and volunteer as registrar and referee for a local youth soccer league with over 1600 players. I have coached 24 soccer and basketball teams, including three championship winners. I am an amateur photographer, currently shooting with an Olympus OM-D E-M5. My four kids range in age from teens to twenties, including one who graduated from Stanford and Harvard Law and another who graduated from UCLA and currently attends Georgetown Law. I would love to work with you as you embark on your transformational adventure.
